About Me
Hello my Name is Hamdi Eslaquit.
I am the mother of two toddlers - Leyla 3 years old and
Hamdel 1 year old; and two teenagers Selim 14 and Claudia 12.

I know how important your baby’s first years are. It is a critical time of discovery and growth. Hamdi’s Childcare specializes in building a bond of trust with your baby and you. We guide your infant thru these very important developmental stages. You will feel confident that your child is in a nurturing environment where learning and development are part of their daily care.

As a parent and a child care provider, I certainly have the qualifications and the skills to care for other children. It is very important to me that I go below the surface and really learn about all children and how they develop as a whole person. I am striving for a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Development. I am also moving towards obtaining the CDA credential and thereafter, facility accreditation through NAFCC.

I am involved with the following local organizations that support child care providers:

Childcare Network of Kingstowne-Franconia
Virginia Alliance of Family Child Care Associations

I attend workshops and seminars and specialized trainings. I take part in special programs offered to caregivers who are willing to provide feedback about the real-life implementation of the curriculum.

Finally in order to make our family child care home the perfect place for children to blossom, we needed to design the environment around the children. We moved to this new home that is on a very quiet street, in a very safe neighborhood. The large playroom is colorful, full of developmentally appropriate toys and educational materials. We knew when we first saw this home that it was the perfect place to create “Hamdi’s Childcare”!

My goal is to make a positive impact in the life of every child and Family who enters my family child care.
